By using AIM (the "Service," "we," "us," "our"), you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. This Disclaimer works alongside our [Terms of Service] and [Privacy Policy] โ together, those documents govern your use of AIM.
AIM provides general wellness information and automatically generated meal suggestions based on the information you provide (your stated weight, height, age, sex, activity level, and goal). This is not medical advice, dietary counseling, or a treatment plan, and AIM is not a substitute for care from a physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified health professional. Calorie and macronutrient targets are calculated using a standard, publicly available formula (the Mifflin-St Jeor equation) and general assumptions about your stated goal โ they are estimates, not a medical prescription, and they have not been reviewed by a licensed dietitian or physician.
You should talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before starting any new diet or nutrition plan, and especially before using AIM, if you:
If you experience any adverse reaction or health concern related to a meal plan generated by AIM, stop using it and consult a healthcare provider promptly.
Meal plans, recipes, ingredient lists, calorie/macro estimates, and cooking instructions on AIM are generated automatically, in whole or in part, by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content can be wrong. It may contain inaccurate nutritional estimates, implausible or unsafe cooking instructions, or ingredient suggestions that don't actually fit your stated preferences. You are responsible for using your own judgment before shopping for, preparing, or eating anything AIM suggests โ including checking that a recipe and its instructions make sense and are safe before you follow them.
AIM's allergy and dislike filters are a best-effort tool, not a guarantee. You tell AIM about foods you dislike or are allergic to, and AIM tries to avoid suggesting meals containing those ingredients โ but automated filtering can fail, miss an indirect or less obvious source of an allergen (for example, a sauce, seasoning blend, or processed ingredient that contains a hidden allergen), or make a mistake.
You are solely responsible for checking every ingredient and every product label yourself before you buy, prepare, or eat anything, regardless of what AIM's meal plan says. This is especially critical if you have a food allergy, intolerance, or any condition where consuming the wrong ingredient could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. AIM, its owners, and its operators are not responsible for any allergic reaction, illness, or injury that results from ingredients in a suggested meal, whether or not AIM's filtering was supposed to exclude that ingredient.
If you have a severe or life-threatening food allergy, do not rely on AIM as your only safeguard. Always verify ingredients and labels yourself, every time.
AIM does not guarantee any specific outcome, including weight loss, weight gain, muscle gain, or any other health or fitness result. Individual results depend on many factors outside AIM's control, including your actual adherence to a plan, your individual physiology, your activity level, and factors AIM has no way to know about. Calorie and macro targets shown are estimates based on standard formulas and the information you provided โ they are not personalized medical calculations and may not be accurate for your specific circumstances.
Prices shown on your shopping list are estimates only, adjusted using general, publicly known regional cost-of-living differences โ they are not live prices pulled from any specific store, and actual prices at any store on any given day may be higher or lower. Do not rely on these estimates as an exact quote of what you'll pay.
AIM may show links that run a search on a third-party retailer's website (for example, Walmart, Smith's, or Harmons) for a specific grocery item, as a convenience to help you find that item faster. AIM is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these retailers. Clicking a link takes you to a website AIM doesn't control and isn't responsible for โ including that store's prices, product availability, accuracy of search results, privacy practices, or terms of service. Any purchase you make happens entirely between you and that retailer; AIM is not a party to that transaction and does not process, see, or store your payment or account information for that store.
AIM is a paid subscription service, currently $10.00 per month, billed automatically and repeatedly to your chosen payment method until you cancel. Before you sign up, you'll be shown the price and billing frequency clearly. You can cancel at any time through [cancellation method โ e.g., your account page]; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund amounts already charged for the current billing period, unless otherwise required by law. [Insert your actual refund policy here, if you offer one.]
AIM collects the information you provide (including health-adjacent information like weight, height, activity level, and goals) to generate your meal plans and shopping lists. How we collect, use, store, and protect that information โ including additional protections that apply if you're a resident of Washington or Nevada โ is explained in our [Privacy Policy] and [Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy], which you should read before signing up.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIM and its owners, operators, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to any health issue, allergic reaction, financial loss, or dissatisfaction with results. Your use of AIM, and any meal plan or suggestion it generates, is at your own risk. [A hard dollar cap on liability, an arbitration clause, and/or a class-action waiver are common additions here โ these have specific legal requirements and some states restrict what they can say, so have an attorney draft this part specifically rather than relying on placeholder language.]
You must be at least 18 years old to create an AIM account or subscribe to the Service. By signing up, you're confirming that you meet this requirement.
We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above [and/or notify you by email]. Continuing to use AIM after a change means you accept the updated terms.
This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. [Confirm this is actually where you want disputes handled โ an attorney can advise on whether this is the right choice and whether it will actually be enforceable against customers in other states.]
